Episode Summaries: 1st episode - The battle between Etiecles and Polynieces's armies is over. Etiecles and Polynieces killed eachother in battle. However, Polynieces is denied a proper burial by King Creon because he was a traitor to Thebes. Antigone plans to bury Polynieces, even though it is against the law to do so. She puts dust on the body and the guards notice and tell Creon. 2nd episode - Antigone is caught in the act of burying Polynieces. She is captured and brought before Creon.Creon is angry and he also accuses Ismene. He plans for both of them to be executed. However Antigone denies her role in the burial and Ismene is set free. 3rd episode - Haemon confronts Creon about his decision to have Antigone killed. He thinks that it is a bad idea because he loves her. He says that if she dies then someone else would die, hinting that he would kill himself. Creon thinks he is saying that he will kill someone else and yet he does not believe him anyway.
4th Episode- Antigone was sentenced to death but it wasn't to be stone in public to death. I believe Creon changed it because he knew he can't see part of his family die in public. So the next thing he decided to do was to bury her alive in a tomb unground so she basically can starve to death. 5th Episode- Haemon has killed himself because he discovers that Antigone hung herself. Like he promised his father, he killed himself because of Antigone's death. When Creon's wife, Eurydice, hears the news, she kills herself as well, being overcome by grief. Now Creon is by himself with no family left since all of them have killed themselves.
